" The organisation by Schools into Europe was amazing. Steve the coach driver went beyond his role as a bus driver to make the weekend so special for these young people of Pant and Dowlais which for some was more than special, but a dream come true and ‘all my troubles are left behind for a bit’ was a phase one 12 year old lad said to me as he looks after his disabled grandmother and so has never been outside of Merthyr Tydfil! ‘WOW’ I thought with tears running down my face and eating a toffee apple, what a statement to make at such a young age! That’s just one example of the many conversations I had with these amazing young people. It’s called changing lives and trying to give these young people the opportunities that perhaps they would never have. Once again A BIG THANKYOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP."
