About Us

Schools Into Europe was founded in 1992 by Paul and Lesley Denison. For many years previously, Paul taught French and German and was a Head of Middle School in Yorkshire, which gave him an excellent insight into exactly what was required by Party Leaders. Before he began teaching, he also worked as a Tours Manager at Wallace Arnold. This, combined with Lesley’s extensive background in customer service and care, her vast experience as a Sales Manager in the industry, and her own relentlessly high standards, allowed them to quicky grow the family business into one of the UK’s largest independent School tour and day trip operators. Schools Into Europe has since built up longstanding relationships with Party Leaders from all corners of Britain and this has led to continued success and growth with around 40,000 passengers travelling with us this year - and numbers continue to grow year on year. Despite this growth, Schools Into Europe continues to be a family-run business with Rhys and Geraint, their sons, working alongside Lesley and Paul in the Company.

We feel confident that we can offer our customers the personal care which you would expect from a small business, while also providing the support and expertise of the large company which we have now become. For nearly twenty years we have combined the latest technologies with the best elements of traditional file-keeping and administration, ensuring that the details of your booking are always safe and available when you need them, no matter what happens with our computers! We also endevaour to answer the telephone within three rings, and you will never be asked to push a series of buttons or speak to a computer before getting through to one of the fully qualified and helpful members of our team. Safety

Schools Into Europe goes above and beyond its legal obligations to ensure the safety and comfort of all of its customers. Each member of our staff has been checked by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB), and we have an extensive vetting process for our coach companies and suppliers, making sure that everything is always in strict compliance with the relevant legislation. For your peace of mind, all of Schools Into Europe's package tours are underwritten by ABTA. Supporting Worthwhile Organisations

As a caring company we like to offer our support to worthwhile causes, whether locally or on a larger scale. In particular, all of Schools Into Europe's directors are dog enthusiasts, and our Company supports a number of animal charities in tribute to all of our dogs, past and present, who have contributed so much to our family over the years. We began to work with PETA (www.petaasiapacific.com and www.peta.org.uk) following the loss of our own beloved St Bernard, Saffy, to combat cruelty against that breed in Asia, and have since supported a number of similar campaigns to improve the day-to-day lives of such animals around the world.
