Costa Brava Accommodation and Excursions

Schools into Europe - Costa Brava Accommodation
Below is a sample of just some of the accommodation Schools Into Europe can offer for school trips to this region. We can offer a wide range of centres and hotels for any destination - just contact us and let us know your requirements!

Location

Schools Into Europe can offer a wide range of accommodation for school tours to the Costa Brava. We have a selection of 2* and 3* hotels in resorts such as Calella, ideally located for those who like to explore the local sights and shops, or in quieter resorts such as Santa Susanna for parties wanting to get away from it all after a busy day of sightseeing. Depending on the focus of your tour we can help you choose the best resort for you, to make sure you are perfectly positioned for your excursions to Barcelona, Figueres for art-lovers, Girona or Port Aventura.

Facilities

All of our hotels are very experienced at accepting school groups, and you will be guaranteed a warm welcome. Students are mostly accommodated in 2, 3 or 4 bedded rooms with staff in twins or singles, and rooms are almost always equipped with private facilities. It is usually possible to reserve a meeting room for study time or evening activities, and many of the hotels have a games room or pool and are located just a short walk from the beach.

Excursions

Barcelona

Stroll along “Las Ramblas”, with its lively mix of buskers, artists and street entertainers, and visit the nearby Gothic Quarter. Artists will be inspired by the works of Gaudi, the most famous of which is the Sagrada Familia (small charge, payable on the spot), which remains unfinished. Gaudi also designed the Parc Guell, using items from the city’s rubbish tips! Also well worth a visit are the Olympic village and stadium (open all day), which hosted the 1992 Olympic Games.

Port Aventura

Located around 70 miles south of Barcelona, Universal Studios’ famous theme park is one of the best in Europe, with rides and attractions to rival anything available elsewhere. The five separate areas represent the five continents and feature more than 30 rides.

F. C. Barcelona Stadium and Museum

Visit the famous Nou Camp Stadium and re-live the many moments of football history which have taken place here.

Dali Museum, Figueres

Figueres is the birthplace of Salvador Dali, and the theatre-museum, inaugurated in 1974, contains a wide range of works tracing the rise to fame of this artistic genius.
