Costa Brava, Spain

Costa Brava is a very popular destination for School Trips and excellent for schools looking for a Spanish Language theme to their school trip.

With its miles of golden sandy beaches and warm climate, the Costa Brava (literally “the Wild Coast”) makes an ideal school trip destination at any time of year, the weather being just as welcoming in the Spring or Autumn terms as in Summer.

Proud of its own language and heritage, Catalonia, one of the most easily accessible regions of Spain, offers a rich artistic and cultural heritage, along with a wealth of possibilities for leisure pursuits for your school trip.

Barcelona, the capital of the region, is a fascinating city of art and leisure and is well worth a full–day visit. The works of Gaudi, including the unfinished church, the Sagrada Familia, one of his most impressive monuments, and the Parc Guell are in evidence throughout the city. The city’s fascinating Gothic Quarter has remained unchanged for centuries, and the famous street “Las Ramblas” with its artists, street entertainers, plazas and range of shops and boutiques is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on all those schools who visit it.
