Dieppe – Town of Art and History
A school trip to Dieppe, allows you to visit the heart of the Seine–Maritime area of Normandy, it is one of a number of French towns and cities which have earned the title “Villes d’Art et d’Histoire” from the French Culture Ministry. Nearby Fécamp is another.

This makes it an ideal destination for history and art school trips.
Over a mile of sea-front, including 20 acres of pleasant lawned areas, are complemented by a lively and interesting port area. The finishing touches are the many buildings of historical interest. These include the 15th Century Château, now home to the town’s museum, the Porte des Tourelles, and some lovely old churches from the 14th and 15th Centuries.
Dieppe’s Saturday morning market is one of the best in the region, with a great selection of goods and local produce on offer.
