YHA LONDON THAMESIDE


Summary

This purpose-built, modern centre is fully adapted to the needs of large groups, providing simple but comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price. The location on the edge of the Docklands area provides an excellent base for visiting the Tower of London, the London Dungeon and the South Bank.

Facilities

Students are accommodated in 4-8 bedded rooms, with staff in twins or singles. All rooms have private facilities. The centre has its own restaurant and café bar, a lounge with Sky TV and internet facilities, and meeting rooms can be arranged for study time or evening activities.

Experience the darker side of London’s history with a visit to the London Dungeon. Discover the Great Plague and the Great Fire of London, as well as the gruesome tales of Jack the Ripper and Sweeney Todd, in the exhibitions and rides at the Dungeon.

Imperial War Museum

One of London’s most popular museums, the Imperial War Museum covers all aspects of war. It houses several permanent galleries dedicated to the First and Second World Wars, conflicts since 1945, the Holocaust, and espionage, amongst many others.
