SPANISH LANGUAGE AND CULTURE TRIPS

Our Company prides itself on the high standard of its Spanish Language tours, which provide pupils with a fantastic opportunity to practise their language skills in a real-life setting whilst immersing themselves in the unique culture of Spain. Whether it’s a shorter tour by air to experience cosmopolitan Madrid or traditional Valencia, or a longer tour by coach to explore the ever-popular Barcelona and Costa Brava, your pupils will be exposed to a variety of Spanish linguistic and cultural features which are sure to bring to life the language which they study in the classroom. We can also arrange for your pupils to have language lessons during their time in Spain, providing a splendid academic component to the tour which will complement their learning outside the classroom.

BARCELONA AND THE COSTA BRAVA

With a wide selection of excursions, and the fact that the region is as accessible by coach as it is by aeroplane, it’s easy to see why Barcelona and the Costa Brava are the most popular destinations for our Spanish Language tours. A colourful, vibrant, and exciting city rich in history and culture, Barcelona is as well-known for its iconic architecture as it is for its world-famous football club. No visit to the city would be complete without a stroll along the lively Las Ramblas, around the winding streets of the Barrio Gótico, or the bustling La Boquería food market, where students will have the opportunity to practise their language skills. Outside the city, Montserrat, Figueres and Gerona are all well worth a visit. The region is also interesting for its use of Catalan, which sits alongside Spanish in daily use. Please click here to visit our Barcelona and the Costa Brava page.

MADRID

With its magnificent palaces, stunning architecture, world-famous art galleries and atmospheric Old Town, Madrid’s cultural and political importance make it a fantastic destination for Spanish Language tours. We can tailor-make your itinerary to include visits to some of the city’s most historic landmarks including the Cathedral, the Royal Palace, the Royal Theatre and the many beautiful fountains, plazas and parks. No Spanish Language tour to Madrid would be complete without a visit to the museums of the ‘Golden Triangle’, time at the city’s shops and markets, where pupils can practise their language skills, and of course the chance to sample the delicious local dishes, which will give students a true taste of Spain. Please click here to visit our Madrid page.

VALENCIA

Spain’s third city continues to increase in popularity as a Spanish Language tour destination. Our tours to Valencia can be tailor-made to include a varied programme of cultural activities, including visits to the Cathedral, Llotja de la Seda, and the popular Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. Also not to be missed is the Fallas Museum, which houses a fascinating collection of whimsical papier maché models from Valencia’s most famous festival, Las Fallas. Students will have the opportunity to put their language skills to the test at the city’s many shops and food markets, and get a true taste of Spain through sampling the city’s most famous dish – Paella. Please click here to visit our Valencia page.
