FRENCH LANGUAGE AND CULTURE SCHOOL TRIPS

Our Company prides itself on the high standard of its French Language tours, which provide pupils with the opportunity to practice their language skills in a real-life setting and to immerse themselves in the unique culture of France. Whether it’s a shorter day trip to a typically French boulangerie in the Côte d’Opale, or a longer tour exploring the cosmopolitan identity of Paris or the Provincial charm of Brittany, your pupils will be exposed to a variety of French linguistic and cultural features which are sure to bring to life the language which they study in the classroom.

CôTE D’OPALE

Perfect for shorter trips and for Key Stage 2 and 3 pupils, the Côte d’Opale is just a stone’s throw away from Dover, yet provides pupils with a uniquely French experience and serves as an ideal introduction to this fascinating and proudly unique country. We also offer our own work-booklet for this region to improve your pupils’ learning experience.  Please click here to visit our Côte d’Opale page.

NORMANDY

Normandy is a region of contrasts, from the apple orchards of Calvados and medieval splendour of Rouen and Dieppe, to the stark practicality and industrialism of Le Havre and Cherbourg, and is a wonderful microcosm of modern France. It is also perfect for interdisciplinary tours with the History or Humanities department in your school. Please click here to visit our Normandy page.

CHRISTMAS MARKETS

Although of German origin, Christmas Markets are common throughout France, and are particularly popular along the border with France’s neighbour to the east. Strasbourg in particular has an excellent market, the ideal place to practise their language skills, while Lille’s old world charm is a similarly magical setting for this renowned festive tradition. Please click here to visit our Christmas market page.

LILLE

Conveniently close to the United Kingdom, Lille is an excellent destination for a French day trip or shorter tour, and we work with a number of suppliers in the region to provide pupils with a typically French experience. Please click here to visit our Lille page.

BRITTANY

Possessing a unique culture and heritage, Brittany is rural France at its best and is a charming destination for a more gently paced French language tour. This is an ideal destination for Key Stage 3 tours in particular. Please click here to visit our Brittany page.

STRASBOURG

Sitting as it does on the border with Germany, Strasbourg is the obvious destination for pupils studying both French and German, and having belonged to both countries over its long history, possesses distinct aspects of both cultures in its architecture and heritage. Please click here to visit our Strasbourg page.
